Great varied food and food choices as the menu is very good options for all, and good service as the staff are great and nice pub and resturant !!

Classic Irish pub ambience with Cheers neighborhood back. Decent food of the pub kind. Sadly when they closed Parkside Tavern and reopened as O'Brien's they dropped some of the less well known Irish foods such as champ and Colcannon. But the bar staff more than make up for it. Everybody may not exactly know your name but they're always glad you came.

First time coming here. This place has a full bar which you can seat at. They also have tables if you like to dine in since they do serve food as well other than drinks. Great place to hang out with friends and family. This place is clean. Friendly staffs.

Went there on a Saturday evening for some drinks and bites with coworkers at 5:30pm. Plenty of seating open, it was about half filled inside, and we were helped out very quickly. The bartenders were great and fast! The noise level was a little high, and made it hard to talk with eachother but that is a minor complaint. Food was delicious, pork chop, fried calamari, crispy shrimp and garlic fries.

Just a quick side of fries to go, and they were hot, crispy and delicious! And as always, very friendly service.

I happen to stumble upon this place while looking for a place to watch the Niners game on Sunday. I love this place! Not only is it beautiful inside but the food is great and the bartender was exactly what you want a bartender to be: kind, helpful and funny. This is my new spot!

Stopped by to watch a Warriors game on a Saturday night. The place is festively decorated with Christmas cheer. On a cold night ordered a hot buttered run and potato skins. Both were very good albeit a bit pricey. Service was friendly and warm, good local spot to check out if you are on Taraval.

We have been going to this neighborhood gem for years - back when it was Parkside Tavern - and now that it is O'Brien's. Maybe 15 years?! We were so glad that the new owner and many of the staff of the former restaurant stayed and that the same friendly faces are still here to greet us! The ambiance is wonderful. Full bar decked out and especially festive for the holidays with beautiful decor of lights and garland. So cozy. The menu for dinner is great. We love the steak frites, the salmon, the pork chop. The potato skins are a solid app especially during happy hour. The drinks here are also solid. They do a fantastic dirty martini. Wines are good to complement a meal also. The wait staff are attentive and so welcoming. One time I had a steak that I ordered medium and our server noticed before I did that it was way under done. She was proactive and made sure and took it back to get it cooked to my liking. I really appreciate how attentive and detailed the wonderful staff is here. A wonderful neighborhood spot. We love this place! Highly recommended!

It was a Wednesday night, but it was packed. Even the auxiliary dining room, where I was, was packed. This was a pleasant surprise that business is doing this well. I don't remember that happening when it was the Parkside Tavern. Back then, the auxiliary room was mostly empty, except maybe on Warriors playoff nights. I had that Bangers and Mash today. It was very flavorful and aromatic. The bangers were a little bit on the burnt side but the mashed potatoes topped with an irresistible, stout gravy more than made up for it. The service was slow getting the food to everyone because the kitchen was backed up with the crowd tonight. So we had to be more patient. But it was another good sign for them that business is doing so well. The servers themselves were great. A tag team of three were working together to make sure we were all taken care of.

My friends and I decided to drop in for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed it! They have a decent amount of seating aside from the bar and it's brightly lit and had TV's playing above the bar. I'd say the ambiance is an upscale bar. We ordered the burger, fish & chips, and Chef's pasta. All the food was flavored well and had decently big portions that were great to share. The fish and chips were lightly battered and crispy, it came with malted vinegar and tartar sauce. The chef's pasta changes but we had a seafood red sauce with bucatini and it was delicious. The burger was enjoyable but wasn't anything special. We also opted for dessert and got the chocolate brownie and banoffee pie. I'd skip the chocolate brownie, it came out dry and had a burnt coating. The banoffee pie was the perfect dessert, it wasn't overly sweet and the fresh banana and graham cracker crust went so well together.
